Casting for Short Film "RED EARTH" - NY 9/5 - 9/8

ALL TALENT MUST BE OF NATIVE AMERICAN DESCENT. Script calls for prinicipal characters of Dakota Indian culture. Authenticity and familiarity of the native language a great benefit. All lines will be spoken in native language.
Story follows young ''Red Earth'' and brother ''Waiting Crow'' on their first hunting excursion away from the family camp.
''RED EARTH'' - male, 16, Dakota Indian tribe, proud older brother''WAITING CROW'' - male, 14, Dakota Indian tribe, mischievous young brother
''FATHER'' - male, 40's, Dakota Indian tribe
"'MOTHER'' - female, 30's, Dakota Indian tribe
''GRANDMOTHER'' - female, 50's, Dakota Indian tribe
Also looking for:
YOUNG BROTHER, SISTER, BABY BROTHER and UTE WARRIORS
I can also use an expert on Lakota language and specifics ie wardrobe and such.
This is a short film to be shot on S16MM in the great NY state area,
sept 5-8. We will pay and provide transportation from and to NYC and lodging.
